Globalization

Globalization can be described as a historical process of global integration across social, political, technological, economic, and cultural areas. It has both positive and negative impacts. Globalization leads to increased international trade, connection of companies through technology, greater access to information, distribution of imported goods, increased foreign investment, and exponential growth of international exchange. However, it can also weaken the role of nation states and threaten local identities and consumption patterns. Globalization is a planetary phenomenon that influences countries unevenly depending on their level of development and involvement in the global economy.
