SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE ON LEVEL OF RESEARCH CAPABILITY OF

MARITIME INSTRUCTORS: BASIS FOR RESEARCH CAPABILITY PROGRAM

Dear Respondent,

Please read the information that follows before answering.

PURPOSE: This instrument aims to gather data to evaluate the level of research capability of
the Maritime Instructors.

DESCRIPTION: This survey questionnaire is consist of 37 researcher adapted and modified


Likert type statements in determining the research capability of maritime instructors: Part A is
nine (9) items for attitude towards research, Part B is 11 items for knowledge in conducting
research and Part C is 17 items for skills in conducting research.

INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ANSWERING:

A. Please fill out the needed data and encircle the items in the questionnaire.
B. Answer HONESTLY.
C. Assess your research capability in terms of ATTITUDE.
