(Recorded Announcement) Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, are you
ready? I’m sorry I didn’t quite hear that, are you ready? OOOOOOOKKKKKK
then, it’s time for some fun, song and dance, let’s hear a big clap, for The
Dorothy the Dinosaur and Friends Show!
TRACK 2
Dorothy: ”Hee hee hee hee (laugh) thank you everybody, and.. hello
everyone, hello over there. You know, I’m really glad you could
all be here for my big dance party. We’re going to shake, dance
and have lots of fun! Oh, by the way, have you met my friends?

Dorothy: Well now we have all met each other, let’s have a dance
together. Maybe we might meet some more of our friends!

Dorothy: Yes, and Captain Feathersword. There seems to be someone I
am forgetting. I wonder who it is?….aaaaah

(Characters exit to thunderous applause!)
Host A: Well, as our special friends leave the stage it’s time to sing a
song together. We need everybody’s help. Let’s sing Rock A Bye

Host B: Give yourself a clap, you sang that so well, but all this singing
and dancing is making me hungry.
Host A: Hungry? Well Host B,here is a song about three different types
of food
Host B: I would be happy with one type of food. Okay Host A, what food
are you serving up today in the form of a song? Some fruit salad
maybe, or how about some soup? I love soup?
Host B: C’mon everyone, let’s sing the song. I am getting really hungry!

SONG: Hot Potato
Song starts, during the song Captain Feathersword enters and starts his
famous feathersword antics. Behind the two merry hosts, he tickles. They
react with appropriately blank faces! The fun comes to a stop at the end of
the song.

(To audience) Was anybody tickling us?
The audience kindly inform the unknowing host that the aforementioned
Captain is onstage right behind them!)
Host A: Wait a minute, statues are not supposed to move, and that one
well, it just did. It just did!!!
CFS: (Can’t contain himself any longer) Who ho, me hearties the children
were right. It’s just me, Captain Feathersword the friendly
pirate
Host A: Lets all say Ahoy there Captain Feathersword – “Ahoy there
captain Feathersword”
Host A: A great statue captain. (to audience) Can you be a statue? Let’s
all be statues

Track 13 (runs through to Wally’s Dream Ballet and more Dot Dialogue)
Dorothy: Alright, I think everyone is loose now. Oh, I need your help too
everyone. Right lets dance the ballet!

SONG: Wallys’ Dream music (INSTRUMENTAL)
The friendly characters perform their dream ballet, ends with just Dorothy
on stage, she bows and then to applause (both taped and real).

Dorothy: (tearily) That was just beautiful. I am so happy I could cry. Bye
everyone, I will be back soon. Bye(exits)
Our hardworking hosts enter. Host B is wearing a doctor’s outfit
Host B: Hi everybody, I’m doctor (Name). I’ve just been looking after
some jumping joeys who weren’t very careful. Do you like
jumping?

Five little Joeys jumping on the bed
One fell off and bumped his head
We called up the doctor, the doctor said
“No more Joeys jumping on the bed”
Host B: Great to see you again Wags. Hey Wags, (Pointing to audience)
someone is waving to you. Look Wags, someone else is too! Lets
all wave to Wags the Dog!

[Song involves everyone except our hero Dorothy! At the ending of the song,
all of the characters leave the stage cheering on that blaggard Captain
Feathersword. Dorothy enters, a solitary figure, happy, yet with a certain
melancholy that comes from knowing that the end of the show is near!]
