Energy sector is one example of using desirable salary for talent
acquisition strategy. On the other hand, Textile or Agriculture sector has
not established a market-competive salary range.
For the same position, domestic companies give strictly lower wage than
their FDI counterparts, sometimes even a half or a third as much and do not
require foreign language skills. Business scale is also taken into account, i.e.
the bigger the higher. In addition, U.S companies prefer young employees
whereas their Asian counterparts value experiences and maturity.
