So, my dear friend, are you ready to start our small adventure? I promise that the process won't
be boring at all, on the contrary it will wake up your imagination and make you achieve a
desirable result. It is a kind of a quest when you finish it you will be surprised and willing to do it
again and again! :)

Well, my little friend, get all the necessary materials, which you should have already prepared out
of the bins , take your place on your lovely sofa and don't forget to make a cup of aroma coffee
or tea and let’s begin.

The first part consists of crocheting of all parts of the toy. It is the main and the easiest part. I
only want to wish you good luck and the smoothest crochets. And remember if you fail the first
time, don't get upset, you will manage to do it, I promise. Never give up. Everything I've got today
is the result of hard work. And I'm sure you will do it even better if you really want it.

At the basis of our lamb is pretty whimsical yarn that may seem to you quite heavy to crochet
with at first glance. However, that is not so! These are all our fears before the unknown. Believe
me! Just be patient and everything will turn out for you! If it is still hard and incomprehensible
after several tries, I will advise you to take very thin cotton yarn in the tone of textured yarn and
crochet in two strands.

Then we will crochet a clasp to make our shoe look like real. In

in the center.  Mark beginning and the end with pins.
Remaining (30 st - 8 st = 22 st) 22 stitches single crochet
around using remaining front loops. Don't cut the yarn, make
a chain of 8 and make sl st in first stitch of the row. Hide yarn

PAGE 15 Bunny April

Well, our magic bunny is almost ready!

The main thing is to collect all your patience, concentrate on the process of putting all the
details together and add your imagination to achieve the best results!
I’m sure they will exceed all your expectations!
PAGE 16 Bunny April

ASSEMBLY:
First sew head to the body previously
securing it with pins. Everything should be
even and symmetric.
When there is a small hole left, stuff the
area between head and body with fiber
tight, so our head don't hang out.
Cut the yarn and hide yarn tail inside the
detail.

Sew arms on the sides of the body

previously securing them with pins.
PAGE 17 Bunny April

Sew legs using button or thread joint. I used

button joint. In order to do it we will need
cotton yarn and 2 buttons.

Watch video how to do both joints:

PAGE 18 Bunny April
PAGE 19 Bunny April

Sew ears in the center of the head, previously folding them in half on a vertical. We sew the ears
firmly, so that they keep the shape well.
PAGE 20 Bunny April

Now we'll finish bunny's "face".

First crochet muzzle from textured yarn:
R1: 6 sc in magic ring
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3: (1 sc, inc) х 6  (18)
R4: (2 sc, inc) х 6  (24)
R5: 24 sc
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing it to the head.

Pin muzzle to the head. It is necessary to place it exactly in the center of the bottom of the head.
When there is a small hole left, stuff the area between head and muzzle with fiber tight.
Embroider nose with pink floss in the center of the muzzle. Make about 3-4 stitches horizontally
and one stitch vertically.
PAGE 21 Bunny April

Mark place for eyes with pins before sewing them.

Sew eyes with black sewing thread.
Use dry pastel and brush for blush. Chip pastel on a sheet of paper. Gently put a blush on
cheeks with the help of brush.
PAGE 22 Bunny April

Our bunny is almost ready! It remains to weave a wreath of spring flowers and put on a mantle,
in order she is warm and cozy in cool May mornings.
Flowers and leaves crochet using a pattern on the picture. Then sew them one by one to the
head forming composition. Crochet flower for each shoe as well and one flower for mantle.
Art is contagious,
spread it around!

PAGE 24 Bunny April

MANTLE:
I crocheted a mantle for bunny from cotton yarn Yarn Art Begonia and hook size 1,5 mm
First, make a chain. It should be the length of bunny's neck circumference. I've got 40 ch.
Then we need to devide these 40 chains into 2 front parts, back, sleeves and raglan stitches.
We have 4 raglan stitches. 40-4=36. Then take 4 st for each sleeve. 36-8=28. Halve 28 st. We've
got 14 for back and 14 for front of the mantle. Since our front will have 2 parts, then we have 7 st
for each part. Pattern is ready, now we can start crocheting.

Work in turns.
R1: ch 3, 7 dc, 3 dc into one st (that is raglan st), 4 dc, 3 dc into one st, 14 dc, 3 dc into one st, 4 dc,
3 dc into one st, 7 dc
R2-4: crochet similar to first one only make Inc out of 3dc into the middle st of raglan st.

Due to this our mantle increases little by little. Periodically try mantle on the bunny.
PAGE 25 Bunny April
PAGE 26 Bunny April

R5: ch 3, 1 dc into each st of previous row except sleeve stitches. So we've got holes for arms.
Then crochet mantle around with sc.
Bottom of the mantle we'll finish with ruche: 5 dc into the first st of previous row, 1 sl st into the
2nd and 3rd st of the row...alternate this sequence till the end of the row.
Don't forget to make a loop for button.
