Let us all remember that we are in the most Holy Presence of God.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Dear Lord Almighty,

I come humbly before you, lifting up all my fears, doubts and anxieties and asking that you send forth your
Holy Spirit to fill my mind with positive thoughts and my heart with faith that I can do things according to
your will and stop feeling inferior & doubting my capabilities. Help me to accomplish everything I need to
do, and in so doing, be instrumental in the learning of others as well as in the healing of others.

Grant O Lord that I can demonstrate good leadership and can praise you in others and through others. I
am grateful Lord for every single blessing in my life & for every opportunity you present me to be a better

✍ Written Activities to Accomplish

3. A 1-minute Read: A Lasallian is Capable of Leading!

The brand of leadership that St. John Baptist De La Salle adhered to is

Servant Leadership. It is characterized by his vision, listening and
community building. His main inspiration is our Lord, Jesus Christ, who
gave His life for the forgiveness of our sins.

The monumental challenge to all Lasallians is to own De La Salle’s vision,

listen, build community, share the decision making, and embrace the
importance of being God’s instruments “together and by association”.

REFLECTION
Read and reflect on this quote.

V.ECLARINAL (2020) 3
Answer:

A true leader makes critical choices with

confidence. They know that this choice will put
them in the right path even though there is a risk
you have to take. Leaders also knows how to lead
the way and not back down. It’s like fighting a
boxing champion and even though the odds are
against you, you still choose to fight him.

HABIT 6: SYNERGIZE

Innovate and problem solve with those who have a

different point of view.

To put it simply, synergy means “two heads are

better than one.” Synergize is the habit of creative
cooperation. It is teamwork, open-mindedness, and
the adventure of finding new solutions to old
problems. But it doesn’t just happen on its own. It’s
a process, and through that process, people bring
all their personal experience and expertise to the
table. Together, they can produce far better results
that they could individually.

Synergy lets us discover things we are much less

likely to discover by ourselves. It is the idea that the
whole is greater than the sum of the parts. One plus
one equals three, or six, or sixty–you name it.

When people begin to interact together genuinely,

and they’re open to each other’s influence, they
begin to gain new insight. The capability of inventing
new approaches is increased exponentially because
of differences.

SYNERGIZE

V.ECLARINAL (2020) 4
Describe a situation that you were involved with where you demonstrated synergy with others.

The situation that I was in that I demonstrated synergy with others is basically when we have a group
project because the purpose of the group works is for you to get along and work together. If you want to
make this group project a perfect one you have to synergize with other, take advantage of the strengths
you have to make the project a perfect one
