    Job Description:
    (Job Summary):

    IT o cer monitors and maintains the servers and the network, resolving server and network issues, con guring operating
    systems and repair IT equipment’s (printer, wireless access point, scanner, telephone system), provide technical assistance
    and support to employees, keep records of the change and the IT asset.

    (MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS):

    Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks


    Install and con gure computer hardware operating systems and applications
    Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either Face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems
    or resolve issues
    Maintain the data backup on daily, weekly and monthly basis
    Check and maintain that servers and software security patches are up to date
    Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
    Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the organization
    Replace parts as required for the hardware
    Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
    Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
    Support the roll-out of new applications
    Set up new user accounts and pro les and deal with password issues
    Test and evaluate new technology
    Provide technical support to regional o ces as required through remote or visit the site
    Maintenance of the printer, desktops, and server on quarter base
    Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment
    Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
    Any other task has been provided by the department head

    (MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES):

    Any other duties as may be required by the management

    Job Requirements:
    SPECIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):

    Education: Bachelor of computer science/information technology or Network+, MCITP Certi ed  

    Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience as IT support, o cer or similar position, preferably with an international
    organization

    Skills: Demonstrated ability to oversee and work on a wide variety of tasks, activities and projects.

    Technical Skills: Excellent customer service skills, Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, In depth knowledge of
    Windows 10, Polycom, Mac OS, Microsoft O ce.
    Other Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage time and work effectively and e ciently, excellent speaking and written skills of
    English and local languages, ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team, ability to work in stressful situation
    and manage multiple tasks.

    Personal Characteristics: Alerted, well organized and rigorous in work approach and delivery.
