    SUBJECT: Launching of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Step 2


    Registration in the Municipality of San Ildefonso, Bulacan

    Dear Mayor Galvez-Tan:

    Greetings from PSA Bulacan!

    The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) is having its gradual roll-out for the Step 2
    Registration in our province. The Step 1 Registration already started last October 2020
    wherein the demographic information of the applicants were recorded. In Step 2
    Registration, these registrants who were interviewed in Step 1 will proceed to their
    dedicated registration center and have their biometrics taken. Currently, the priority
    sectors are the low income household heads/members. Eventually, the registration will
    be opened to the public thru online portals once available in the system.

    The PhilSys Step 2 Registration in the Municipality of San Ildefonso will officially start on
    March 16, 2021. The registration center is located at the 3rd Floor San Ildefonso
    Commercial Complex Poblacion, San Ildefonso, Bulacan and its operational hours will
    be from 08:00 am until 06:00 pm from Monday to Saturday.

    Before that, a dry run will be conducted on March 15, 2021. With this, we would like to
    take this opportunity to invite you on the abovementioned activity. It will be a milestone in
    the history of San Ildefonso to have its honorable Mayor to be the first registrant of the
    national ID system.

    On the said event, the Vice Mayor, members of the Sangguniang Bayan and LGU
    Department Heads will have the opportunity to be registered as well.
