I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the Grade IX students are expected to do the following with
75% proficiency level:
1. Enumerate the ingredients procedure and the tools needed in preparing a gelatin
dessert.
2. Demonstrate how to make a gelatin dessert.
3. Develop cooperation and discipline during the group activity.
A. Preparation
Good morning class! Good morning Sir
How are you today? We are good Sir
That goods class!
Before we proceed to our new lesson lets
acknowledge first the presence of our
almighty God through a prayer.
Thank you. Who can lead an action song? Thank you students.
Okay so before we proceed to our new lesson
let me check first your attendance.
Are you ready for our new lesson this
morning? Show me that you are all ready. Sit
properly eyes on the board and listen Yes Ma’am
attentively.
B. Review.
Before we proceed to our new lesson this
morning who can still remember our past
lesson?
Very good. Now who can enumerate the Sir our lesson yesterday was all about
procedure? preparing a graham dessert.
Very good! Are there any questions
clarification regarding our past lesson?
I’m glad to know that all of you can still recall Procedure:
our yesterday’s lesson. 1. Combine nestle all purpose cream
and condensed milk.
2. Arrange the pieces of graham
crackers in the glass dish. Fill the
vacant space with another cut of
crackers.
3. Top with the cream mixture. Cover
first layer with mango.
4. Repeat the procedure to form
another layers.
5. In the top of the last layer, put
other ingredients that will serve as
a topping and can also give color
and attraction for the dessert.
6. Keep in the refrigerator for 4 hours
until the graham is moist with
cream.

Ingredients:
4 slices ripe mangoes
2 bars gulaman torn into pieces pineapple
diced
½ cup milk
1 pc banana
2 cups water
Procedure:
1. Boil sugar and gulaman in two cups
water.
2. Remove from fire, strain through a
sieve.
3. Add milk and put half of the mixture
in a wet mold.
4. Put in a cool place to jell.
5. When partly jelled, arrange fruits in a
mold and pour remaining gulaman.
6. Chill until firm. Serve cold.

D. Application
Now class for your activity, make your own
gelatin dessert. The groupings will also the
same like the groupings yesterday.
You may now proceed to our laboratory area.
IV. Evaluation
Direction: in ½ sheet of pad paper, enumerate
the procedure in preparing a gelatin dessert.
V. Assignment
Direction: research about the procedure
in preparing chocolate sauces.
