Project Pitch

Because of my experience with filming advertisements with my father, Chief


Executive of Manufacturing Northern Ireland, his colleagues took notice and
reached out to me in early May, asking me if I would be willing to film another
advertisement for Manufacturing Northern Ireland that they could display on
their website and receive payment for.

I accepted the offer and began work on my next advertisement, this time using
my knowledge of Joe Sugarman’s 31 Psychological Triggers and the 12 types of
advertising. With my knowledge of these 31 Psychological Triggers and the 12
types of advertising, I constructed an advertisement using the following types
of advertising;

- Show Benefit Through Symbol, Analogy or Graphic


- Presenter Testimonial
- Exemplary Story

And the following Psychological Triggers;

- Current Fads
- Hope
- Honesty
- Storytelling
Equipment List

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I was unable to work with a crew and instead
had to resort to writing, shooting and editing the advertisement myself, all
from my own home. Because of this, the equipment list had to be compact and
manageable enough for me to do everything myself with only two arms.

- TASCAM Audio Recorder


- Boom Mic
- Boom Pole
- NIKON Camera
- Tripod
- Natural Lighting

The project was an informal brief and therefore there were no email
exchanges between myself and the client, only phone calls and word of mouth
demands from my father, because of this, the pay was cash in hand and a
phone call from the client thanking me for my work.
