We agree that the Christian sabbath, which we reverently observe on Sunday, the first day of the
week, is the Lord's Day, which we celebrate as a day of rest and prayer and as a continued memorial
of our Savior's redemption. Religion aids in the formation of an ethical system as well as the

There is still something we keep dear to our hearts in our lives; it may be our ideals, morals, or even
our own convictions. Values are qualities that are very valuable to us, but we never know how much
we appreciate them in our lives. Respect for others and myself is something I hold in high regard. In
any case, it is important to have respect for others at all times. Respecting others' views, interests,
and ideals demonstrates that you are aware of their emotions and assures them that they are just as
valuable as everyone else.
