UNIT 6: VOCABULARY LIST

be bitten verb to have an insect injure you and make a small hole in your skin Be bitten by a mosquito.

be stung verb to have a small but painful injury, usually with poison, done to you by an animal or plant Be stung by a bee.
to (cause something to) separate suddenly or violently into two or more pieces, or to (cause

heel noun the back part of your foot My shoe is rubbing on my heel

knee noun the middle part of your leg where it bends Your knee is in the middle of your leg.

shoulder noun where your arm joins your body next to your neck Your shoulder is at the top of your arm.

toe noun one of the five separate parts at the end of your foot I hit my big toe on the edge of the bed

wrist noun the part of your body between your hand and your arm Your wrist is between your hand and your arm.
