Plastic waste, or plastic pollution, is 'the accumulation of plastic objects that harm the environment in
the Earth’s.

Plastic is a polymeric material—that is, a material whose molecules are very large, often resembling long
chains made up of a seemingly endless series of interconnected links.

For more than 50 years, global production and consumption of plastics have continued to rise. An
estimated 299 million tons of plastics were produced in 2013.

• 267 different animal species suffered because of plastic pollution

At the moment, Indonesia is second only to China when it comes to dumping plastic waste into the
world’s oceans.

Every trash that throw by people, will end up on ocean, because of that plastic is the biggest threat for
our ocean. Threat a turtle, because plastic look like a jellyfish in water

• It can remain in bottom of the sea for 400 years

• Pollute the sea water
• Trapped a small marine animals like fish
