from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Administrative Order No. 1, Series
of 1998 on the rules and regulations implementing Republic Act no. 8371, the Indigenous
Peoples’ Rights Act (IPRA) of 1997. These fundamental rights include the rights of the
and human rights, and cultural integrity. In view thereof, you are expected to explain and
apply these fundamental rights through activities requiring higher level of thinking skills
such as analysis, evaluation, and creation. This chapter also serves as an avenue for you to
venture both on the applicability and the non-applicability of national laws to these groups
of people, imparting insights whether the national laws uphold these rights and without
encroaching the indigenous customary laws and other related indigenous knowledge and
practices.

relation to what you can exercise and access freely before, today, and maybe in the future
(15pts).
Your analysis:
- The image expresses the rights of every rights of Filipino should have:
the first image shows a happy child having an education through Education
everyone is able to write, read and count which is very essential because it
is part of our living as an individual. The second image demonstrates the
right to choose our leaders of a country. Philippines is an democratic
country which we have the ability to choose our own leaders to lead us in
the success of the nation. Having a right people in the government seats
helps people to be heard the complainants about farming, road repairs,
transportation, housing and etc. Thirdly, the photo displays a complete
Filipino family because the family wears baro’t saya which is the national
clothes of Philippines. The last photo exhibits justice where people fighting
for the equality of everyone .
- As a citizen these ideas exhibits the significance of living in a country.
To provide good education so people can be able to read, write and count.
This gives them knowledge not to be easily fooled by the others who are
taking an advantage being in a complete family as a guide in child’s
morality. We are living in a democratic country which means we have the
rights to choose our leaders to lead us in peace, order and provide safe
place for us. Choosing right people also means having equality and justice
in each areas of living.
- Without implementation of these ideas will cause of misleading myself
into chaotic world because where we are freely to do immoral things. I
won’t understand the natural occurrences and these things happen in my
surroundings. No one will guide me into love and wisdom. I’ll be ignorant
of this country.
