    Sir:

    This is written in behalf of our client EDUARDO K. MARCOS of Coloong 1,


    Ramos Street, Valenzuela City.

    According to him, him and her wife has a savings with the Prudential Bank with
    Account No. 19255 and deposited the sum of P300,500,000.00. A photocopy of this
    account and balance is hereto attached as Annex A.

    Per Circular Letter dated January 6, 2006, for all banks and non-bank financial
    intermediaries, there is a merger between BPI and Prudential Bank whereby the entire
    assets and liabilities of the Prudential Bank has been transferred and absorbed to BPI.

    Thusly, it appears that the Account No. 19255 of our client has been transferred
    to BPI.

    May we know the status of this account.

    This request is being made pursuant to Section 5. Par. (a), of Republic Act No.
    6713, to wit:

    (a) Act promptly on letters and request. – All public


    officials and employees shall, within (15) working days
    from receipt thereof, respond to letters, telegrams of
    communications sent by the public. The reply must
    contain the action taken on the request.

    We need the same for use in court.
