a. Find the displacement of the particle during the time period 0 ≤ t ≤ 3.
b. Find the distance travelled during this time period.

12.Find the arc length of the curve y 2=x from (0,0) to (1,1).

13.Evaluate improper integral ∫ x e x dx.

y=2 x 2−x 3 and y=0.

15. The curve y= √ 4−x2, −1 ≤ x ≤1 is an arc of the circle x 2+ y 2=4 . Find the area of the surface
obtained by rotating this arc about the x-axis.
