Diagram 11: Official Hand Signals

(Indoor)

1. All signals which are made with one hand shall


be made with the hand on the side of the team that
commits the fault or makes the request.

2. After the signal is made, the referee gestures to the


player who has committed the fault or the team that
has made the request.
Authorization to Serve 1 Move the hand
to indicate the
direction of
service.

Team to Serve 2 Extend the arm


to the side of the
team that will
serve.
