- Also did Art Science Museum
- 845,000 square metres

- Has one of the largest hotels in the world as well as largest rooftop pool

- Is famous for its triple towers linked at the top with a cantilevered (Beamed) sky
garden → (extends 65 metres out from side of towers)

- Open up at the base to form an open-roofed entrance hall, and because site is
wedge-shaped, one opens more, next one is less and last one more less so there's a
pattern of change

- On 57th floor, it's 2.5 acres cantilevering (Beaming) 65 metres off tower with
gardens and proven to be “magical”. Shows how singapore has a good architect

Art Science Museum
- Architect: Moshe Safdie

- Opened in 2011

- Sitting at 6,000 sq m along the Marina Bay area,

- Was designed after lotus flower, symbolising “Welcoming Hand of Singapore” - as it was
aptly described by Sheldon Adelson, chairman of Las Vegas Sands.

- Organized as two major exhibition spaces, positioned around central open-space atrium.
exhibits hover within sculpturally shaped form over the promenade, and second collection of
gallery spaces located beneath a large water lily garden
Art Science Museum (Continued)
- Building is supported by steel lattice diagrid structure and ten steel columns –a sculptural centerpiece
that allows the building to seemingly float above.

- Geometry of shape is often compared to a lotus, and is clad with fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP),
typically used in high-performance racing yachts.

- The dish-shaped roof form collects rainwater and drains it through an oculus, creating a waterfall
through the open-air atrium of the museum.

- Each hall has access to daylight from skylights above and from the central atrium. Integrated lighting
control mechanisms allow spaces to be transformed to black boxes.

- Large picture windows from within the galleries offer views to the promenade below.

What Building I think has the best Design

I think out of all the buildings mentioned, The Interlace has the most unique
design.

The way it is presented and how the building is designed is really good.

The building on top of building design is also very well thought by the architect
who designed it .
