for Standardization (ISO) technical committee ISO/TC 8 ,Ships and Marine Technology, Subcommittee SC 3,piping
and machinery is published the article.
CHAPTER 1: SCOPE
It defines that this design conditions and method of calculations is applicable to pre defined temperature, humidity
for both winter and summer seasons, not for extreme or adverse conditions. These rules are also stand along with
other international rules and regulations.
This chapter says that other international standard which helps to constitute this article, if changes, than
the latest revision will always be taken for reference.
This chapter along with ISO 31-4, ISO 3258 defines the different terms used.
