Grammar: Study how to use so + adjective / adverb + that and such + noun phrase + that.

“The heart of the city is so picturesque that it is like


an open-air museum.”

* We use so + adjective / adverb + that to express a cause and effect relationship.

CAUSE The heart of the city is picturesque.


EFFECT It’s like an open-air museum.

Amsterdam is so liberal that people say it’s the city where ‘Anything goes.’
