Unit 3 Test

Reading and Writing

4 Read about Jack’s town. Answer the questions. / 6 marks

Hello.
My name’s Jack. I live in a small town with my mum, my dad and my little
sister. I like my town. There’s an ice rink here. I go skating with my friends
on Saturdays. There isn’t an internet cafe but there are two restaurants.
They are very nice. I go there with my family. I like the pizza restaurant
best! There isn’t a bowling alley in the town, but there’s a skate park. That’s
really good. All my friends like skateboarding after school. My sister likes
the tennis courts in the park. She’s very good at tennis. I like the football
stadium. The stadium is opposite the shopping centre. I like watching my
favourite football team play on Saturdays. I like the shopping centre too.
Bye!

1 Where does Jack live? 4 Is there a bowling alley in his town?
