2 Product Basic Functions and Applications

This series product is to work with the camera, HDD to monitor the specified position in the indoor
environments. It can monitor, playback and support remote surveillance once connect the device to the
network. It support cellphone monitor from anywhere at anytime via the Internet.
This series product supports five camera signals (CVI,AHD,TVI,CVBS,IPC) and can connect to the
popular signal types on today’s market. It can use the original coaxial cable and support network cable
too. It is suitable to upgrade the current system, at the same time; it can meet the expansible
requirements of new projects.
CVI product has entered the H.265 era. With the lower bit stream, higher compression technology, it
can reduce storage space and network transmission data.
3 Newly Added or Enhanced Functions

New H.265 series products. new software baseline security, it adds the following functions:

H.265 encode All-channel support H.265+,H.265 encode. Smart H.265 encode reduces video bit
streams and storage space by 90% and can storage record file of longer time.
IoT sensor 1. Read temperature and humidity information from the camera that supports these
connection function.
2. Support door sensor, smoke sensor, PIR, IR curtain, water leakage, emergency
button via the gateway camera and wireless module after pairing wireless
accessory module.
Support Support as much as 21 languages. No need to reboot DVR to activate new language
various settings.

GUI
All function of This project is based on the security line. It supports all new functions of the security
the security baseline such as device initialization, network security baseline, PIR connection,
baseline alarm box connection, cloud upgrade, fisheye de-warp, USB keyboard and etc.
4K composite The first composite device that supports 4K high definition. The analog HD maximally
connection supports 4K connection, AHD and TVI maximally supports 5MP connection. It covers
the highest specifications in current analog HD market.
CVI features 1. Support all CVI features such as HDCVI audio, HDCVI alarm, HDCVI upgrade,
HDCVI control.
2. The only hybrid series product supports HDCVI audio on today’s market.
Sub stream The sub stream supports 960H resolution local encode. It meets the remote sub
960H encode stream surveillance of high definition requirements.
Reset 1. Using the reset button on the main board, user can restore factory default
function settings without logging in the device. It can fix the problem when user cannot
login the device due to forget password or configuration error.
2. Operation steps: Open the device case-> Find the reset button->Press the reset
button->boot up the device->press for 5 to 10 seconds and then release. Device
automatically restores factory default settings and then reboot.
Case fan Set case fan mode on the local menu. When the mode is auto, device can
control automatically control fan on/off according to environment temperature. It is to reduce
function noise.
Operation steps: Local menu->Setting->System->Auto maintain.

8 Upgrade
1. The upgrade mode includes configtool, web, USB device. Please refer to the upgrade manual for
detailed information.
2. During the upgrade process, the functions such as record, network preview is null. After upgrade
and reboot process, the device becomes OK.
3. The device setting remains the same after upgrade.
4. During the upgrade process, do not shut down the device or unplug the power cord. Otherwise, the
device may become malfunction and cannot boot up.
