    Soil is an important natural resource. Many things live in soil .Plant roots and insects are living things found
    in the soil . Snakes ,moles and other burrowing animals make their homes in the soil. One of the most
    important animal that lives in the soil is the earth worm.

    Earth worms live in tunnels in the soil .Their tunnels give plant roots space to grow. The tunnel holds air and
    water in the soil. Earth worm eats bits of dead plants and animals in the soil. As they eat they swallow some
    soil ,too .After the soil passes through earth worm' s body, it comes out enriched with nutrients. This soil is
    loose and fluffy in texture and is very good for plant growth.
