Introduction

Investment management refers to the handling of financial assets and other investments—not

only buying and selling them. Management includes devising a short- or long-term strategy for

acquiring and disposing of portfolio holdings. It can also include banking, budgeting, and tax

services and duties, as well.

The term most often refers to managing the holdings within an investment portfolio, and the

trading of them to achieve a specific investment objective. Investment management is also

known as money management, portfolio management, or wealth management.

Understanding investment management

In a different perspective, investment management can be understood as money management,

portfolio management, or wealth management. A professional approach to investment

management aims at achieving certain investment goals for the benefit of clients, as the money

invested is their responsibility. These clients may be individual investors or institutional

investors such as pension funds, retirement plans, and insurance companies.

In terms of corporate finance, investment management means ensuring that the company's assets and
resources are well-utilised and maintained.
Company profile

Uber Technologies, Inc., commonly known as Uber, is an American technology company. Its

services include ride-hailing, food delivery (Uber Eats), package delivery, couriers, freight

transportation, and, through a partnership with Lime, electric bicycle and motorized scooter

rental. The company is based in San Francisco and has operations in over 900 metropolitan areas

worldwide.[3] It is one of the largest firms in the gig economy.

Uber was founded as ubercabs by traviskalanick and garrett camp in 2009 and the app was

released the following june. Beginning in 2012, uber expanded internationally. In 2014, it

experimented with carpooling features and made other updates .

H0= study of financial statement analysis of the company will not grow.

H1= study of financial statement analysis of the company will grow.


Research methodology

Research methodology is a process to systematically solve the research issue .it my be

understood as a science of studying now research is done systematically. In that various steps,

those are generally adopted by a researcher in studying his problem along with the logic behind

them. the procedures by which researchers go about their work of describing, explaining, and

predicting phenomenon are called methodology.

Primary data

The primary data is that data which is collected fresh or first hand and for first time which is

original in nature.

Secondary data

Secondary data simply get those secondary data from various records, annual reports of the

company etc.
