Cover against following health risks: (These are in addition to any other health insurance cover)

  Hospital Cash Benefit (HCB) 


 Major Surgical Benefit (MSB) 
 Day Care Procedure Benefit (DCPB) 
 Other Surgical Benefit (OSB) 

RIDERS: Term Assurance & Accident Benefit available for PI & Insured Spouse only. Risk cover up to 4
lacs per insured.
USP: Principle Insured (PI) can take the policy covering himself / herself. The Spouse, Dependent
Children, Dependent Parents of Husband and/or Wife can also be covered under the same policy.
Hospital Cash Benefit (HCB)
 HCB. (With in India only) is payable on per day basis. HCB available for : Rs.1000, Rs.2000,
Rs.3000 and Rs.4000/ only. 
 1st policy year: Maxi. 30days hospitalization & including 15days in ICU (2 times HCB) for each one. 
 2nd year onwards: Maxi. 90 days and including 45days in I.C.U. for each insured. 
 Maximumof 720 days including 360 days for ICU during entire policy term for each insured. 
 This Benefit increase @ 5% each year till it reaches a maximum of 1.5 times the original H.C.B. And
 arithmetic addition of an amount equal to "No Claim Benefit" at every auto renewal stage. 
 Stay in hospital of 24 hours or part thereof thereafter. Stay more than 7 days, even for1st 24
 hours also payable-. 
 Cover 140 surgeries. 
 Benefit payout is fixed irrespective of actual expenses incurred. 

Major Surgical Benefit (MSB)


 Quick Cash facility: 50% of eligible MSB amount for specified surgeries payable subject to
approval from the TPA 
 Major Surgical Benefit Amount: Calculated as % of Sum Assured, payable regardless of actual costs
 incurred. 
 Premiumwaiverbenefit: In case of major surgery as specified under category I or 2, premium
payable for one year from the next premium due date coinciding or following the date of surgery is
waived. 
 Rs.1000/ payable in lump sum towards Ambulance expenses for specified surgeries. 
 Applicable for surgery conducted only within India. 

Day Care Procedure Benefit (DCPB)


 An Insured undert his Plan undergoing any specified Day Care Procedure mentioned in the Day
Care Procedure Benefit Annexure 
 If a Day Care Procedure Benefit is performed no Hospital Cash Benefit shall be paid 

Other Surgical Benefit (OSB)


 An Insured under the Plan, due to medical necessity, undergoing any Surgery not listed under Major 

Insure And Be Secure

Surgical Benefit or Day Care Procedure Benefit, and the stay in hospital exceeds a continuous
period of 24 hours

Term Assurance Benefit Rider:


Min. Term Assurance SA: Rs. 100,000 Maxi: Rs.400,000
Max. Term Assurance SA: 100 X H.C.B. in multiples of Rs.25000/

Accident Benefit Rider : This benefit available only if Term Assurance Benefit rider is opted.
Minimum Benefit: Rs.25,000
Maximum Benefit: 100 X H.C.B. in multiples of Rs.5000.

 Maxi. age at entry (forPI) 65 yrs nbd ( 17 yrs for dependent child) 
 Maxi. Age at entry for others 75 for dependent parents & in laws. 
 Maxi Cover expiry age 80 lbd for insured and 25 for child 
 Mode of Payment Yly and Hly. 
 Age proof standard age proof and NSAP allowed. 
 Female Category all the three Female Categories allowed 
 Auto renewal & Prem. Revision: every three years 
 Surrender, Partial withdrawals & Loan Not allowed. 
 The general waiting period: 90 days for HCB, MSB & 0 day for Acci Claims 
 Specific waiting period: Refer original Circular. 

 EXCLUSIONS 
 Revivals: The Principal Insured can revive anytime during a period of 2 (two) years
from the due date of first unpaid premium called the"period of revival"or"revival
period" 

Maturity Benefit: No benefits are payable at end of the Cover Period


Death Benefit: (Term assurance. & AB S A payable wherever applicable)
However, following action will take place.
 On death of the Principal Insured (PI); Option for Spouse to take over policy 
 Insured Spouse had predeceased the Principal Insured: Option to take new policy. 
 In the event of death of an Insured person other than the Principal Insured,: The policy continue
with change in premium. 

The Hospital Cash Benefit, Major Surgical Benefit, Day Care Procedure Benefit and Other
Surgical Benefit cover in respect of each Insured shall terminate at the earliest of the following:

 The Date of Cover Expiry mentioned in the Policy Schedule; 


 On attaining the lifetime maximum Benefit Limits as specified above; 
 On death or Date of Cover Expiry of the Principal Insured and if the Policy does not continue
 with the Insured Spouse as the Principal Insured; 
 On death or Date of Cover Expiry of Insured Spouse after the Policy continues with the Insured
 Spouse as the P.I. after the PI dies or reaches his/her Date of Cover Expiry. 
 On death of the Insured;. 
 In respect of the Insured Spouse, on divorce or legal separation from the P. I.; 
 On termination of the Policy due to non payment of premium or any other reason. 
 On PI exhausting all the lifetime maximum Benefit limits as specified above. 
 On death or Date of Cover Expiry, of the Principal Insured and if the Policy does not continue
with the Insured Spouse as the Principal Insured. 
