Management economics deals with managing the resources to its highest potential for maximum

optimization, which definitely help in lessening the scarcity in the resources of a country. This module
talks about how some countries forget about the management of natural resources which may lead to
their downfall. But according to the module, some other developed countries, who has industrialized
strategies, has ways to lessen the burden on environment even while developing on its own.
Development, natural-resource use, and the environment have become so related to each other that
they are need to be managed jointly.

Nature is not a drag on growth – its protection is an unavoidable


prerequisite for sustaining economic development

But what would be the effect of economic growth if nature management is not kept on principle by
other countries:

Excessive water use was the first in the list, explaining that the use of water for agriculture affects global
water shortage and decreases of potable water quality. Excessive water use that leads to water shortage
affects the products that the country produce affecting its price in the market.

Deforestation which is used by businesses for expansion of facilities and sometimes for livestock farm,
often leads to increase climate change in the world. Air pollution is also on the list of effects of excessive
economic growth po. Air pollutuion result to diseases in respiratory system of citizens which affect their
lifestyle and health that sometimes affect their work. and climate change is also included in the list po.
