Please summarize the learning you got from the first video session of CSD.

Summary Session 1: The points which were discussed in CSD-1 are as follows:

 Often our parents, friends, and school/college teacher say about doing some co-curriculum
activity which according to them improves our C.V and we don’t have to struggle much to
find a job.
 The person should have skills to sustain corporate culture
 And there are few skills which are supposed to be developed at a particular time or at a
particular age only for e.g., in school and college.
 Learn to communicate with people and interact with your peers etc.
 Assignment - What skills I have developed? And the skills which were discussed are as
follows:

1. Academic Skills
2. Computer related skills
3. Documentation and reporting
4. Communication – Verbal and Written
5. Analytical and Intelligence Skills
6. Team work

And there are other types of skills too which cannot be said or mentioned in the C.V like political
skill, convincing skill, cooking skills, street smart and etc all this are hidden skills.

Kickass and Kissass Skills

Kick those people out of your life/surrounding who tries to pull you down. End your relationship with
those who thinks negative about you and don’t want you to succeed in life.

Kissass are those people who tries to win the favour of their superior no matter how their superior
treats them. As they want promotion and raise.

And lastly it was discussed that how to survive in the corporate with skills (other).

Please summarize the learning you got from the second video session of CSD.

Summary Session 2: What do you want to in your life, if you are doing graduation or post-
graduation then what do you want to be after completing it.

Aim for the future, aim for one thing rather than running for everything and trying to do everything at
the same time. Indulge yourself into that particular exam like entrance exam and all.

If nothing bad to think about doing a job or giving a certain examination, but need to prepare for the
job. What all you will need to not just crack the job but to excel in that in the near future.

Assignment – What do you want to do in your life?

Take rational decision don’t just blindly follow others like roommate etc. Get a target, get a time
period.

Third thing – Passion – there are two more Ps in it second P is Purpose and third P is
Practicality. If all these three are combined then go ahead no one can stop you from achieving it
and you will enjoy. Like passion of teaching but what is its purpose, so it is that I want to teach poor
children.

Success – what really success is?

Success is when you finish your education get a job start earning and stop talking financial help
from parents and spending your earned money on your family, that is success.

Maintain work life balance, focus on all those factors which will drive you to success. Making
girlfriend, having 10 friends, having good physic is not a success. You can’t achieve everything in
life only through your academic knowledge.

Summary Session 3: Firstly, remove negatives from yourself before going for some positive
solution. Remove few negative things from your life.

 Don’t get involved in any political discussion on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube like what is
going on between or in B.J.P and Congress.

 Try to remove negative people from your life. You think of them but they don’t think for you.
Remove them too who cares/thinks about you but you don’t think about them.

 Important- Start bargaining on your time cause “Time is Money”. Use your time on those
things which will help you in your future and in things which you are interested.

 Try to store your energy and don’t waste it on unnecessary things but use it on productive
things.

 Example – In train the main unit is the engine without which the train won’t move ahead and
to carry important goods coaches are being attached to the engine. In the same way you are
the engine of your life and you have to sort things which you will carry in your first coach like
family and career. And keep other things in other coaches which are not that important.

 What skills does industry requires? – Industry requires each and every skill, it’s up to you
which skill you can provide to them. The skills which you develop in college are more
important.
