ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR THREE TEACHER-TRAINING COURSES:

TWO YEARS B.ED.(GEN.) COURSE, TWO YEARS M.ED. COURSE AND TWO
YEARS B.ED.SPL.ED(LD) COURSE, 2021-22.
Applications on blended mode(Online/Offline) are invited for admission through

MERIT basis into three different Teacher-training courses: Two years M.Ed., Two years
B.Ed.(Gen) and Two years B.Ed.Spl.Ed(LD) courses, offered by Hills College of Teacher
Education, Lekhi, Naharlagun, A.P. during the academic session 2021-22.
The interested and prospective candidates are required to apply either Online or
Offline as suitable to them with the requisite Fee (mentioned in the college website) and self
attested relevant documents from 14th July(Wed) to 6th August(Fri), 2021. The last date of
issue and submission of Application Form is 6th August(Fri), 2021.
The candidate intends to apply Offline, has to collect the Application Form from
the college office/counter available from 14th July(Wed) to 6th August(Fri), 2021 during the
working hours and days within 10.30am to 3.30pm only.
The Candidate intends to apply Online for any course, has to register himself/
herself following the instructions/ steps as mentioned below:
1. First, one has transit/deposit the Online Application Fee Rs. 500/-(Five Hundred only)
through Google Pay/ Phone Pay/ Paytm or any other payment mode in the College

• IFSC Code: CBIN0283233 and note down the Transaction Number.
2. Make a single .PDF file containing all the required documents not exceeding 10 MB.
3. Make an image file of your photograph not exceeding 1MB.
4. Click on the course link as intended for filling the Online Application Form:

5. After entering all the required information, click on the SUBMIT button.
6. Then, the filled in Application Form will be automatically transferred to your E-mail
ID. Then take a print out of the Application Form for your reference.
7. In case, after submission of the Application Form and taking print out, if one finds any
mater/point to be corrected/ edited, one can do it, using the Edit option received by
you through your mail and then resubmit the corrected/ edited version of the
Application Form on/ before 8.00pm of 6th August, 2021(last day of Form submission)
positively.

BASIC INFORMATION:
• The M.Ed. and B.Ed. Programmes of HCTE are recognized by ERC, NCTE, Bhubaneshwar, and
B.Ed.Spl.Ed(LD) course in the area of Learning Disability is recognized by the
Rehabilitation Council of India(RCI), New Delhi.
• The admission in to all the courses will be purely on the basis of MERIT.
• Duration of the programmes for all the three courses is two (02) years each.
• Medium of Instruction & Examination is English.
• No age bar to apply for courses.
• Hostel Facility is available for female students only
• Transport Facility is also available.
ELIGIBLITY FOR ADMISSION:

a. For M.Ed. program the minimum eligibilities are:
• B.Ed. degree from Rajiv Gandhi University or any other UGC recognized University/
College/ Institute with at least 50% marks.
• SC/ST candidates shall be given relaxation of 5% marks.
• Candidates who have appeared in qualifying Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Examination
can also apply. However, such candidates will have to submit the proof of having
passed the qualifying examination latest by 6th August, 2021.
b. For B.Ed. program the minimum eligibilities are:

• Candidate with M.A./ M.Sc./ M.Com/ B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./(B.E./B.Tech. with
Specialization in Sc. & Mathematics having 55% marks) degree from Rajiv Gandhi
University or any other recognized University with at least 50% marks in the
qualifying degree examination under (10+2+3) pattern/ scheme is eligible for
admission into B.Ed.(General) course.
• SC, ST and OBC (NCL) candidates shall be given relaxation of 5% marks. NCL
candidates should produce NCL certificate issued for the current year.
• Candidates who are appearing in qualifying (Bachelor Degree) Examination can also apply.
However, such candidates will have to submit the proof of having passed the
qualifying examination latest by 6th August, 2021.
c. For B.Ed.Spl.Ed(LD) program the minimum eligibilities are:
• B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and equivalent degree at graduation level with minimum 50%
marks in the qualifying degree examination.
• SC/ST and OBC (NCL) candidates shall be given relaxation of 5% marks. The
NCL candidates should produce NCL Certificate issued for the current year.
• Candidates who are appearing in qualifying (Bachelor Degree) Examination can also apply.
However, such candidates will have to submit the proof of having passed the
qualifying examination latest by 6th August, 2021.
IMPORTANT DATES:
❖ Issue of Application Form(Offline) from College office for all the three different courses will be
start from 14th July(Wed) to 6th August(Fri), 2021 during the working hours and days within
10.30am to 3.30pm.
❖ Filled in Application Form(Offline) to reach the college office for all the three courses is latest by
6th August(Fri), 2021.
❖ Application can be had from the college office on payment of Rs. 100/- only by cash(for Offline
Application).

Note: This notification is subject to change looking l at the Pandemic situation in the state and
locality based on UGC/ ME Guidelines or Directives issued from time to time in this regard by
