KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN (KFC)’S
BACKGROUND
KFC is an abbreviation of Kentucky Fried Chicken is a chain of fast food restaurant based in
Louisville Kentucky, in the United Stated and was founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1952.

KFC mainly sells chicken pieces, wraps, salads and sandwiches. While its main focus is fried
chicken, KFC also offers a line of grilled and roasted chicken products, side dishes and desserts.

KFC Holdings (Malaysia) Bhd., (KFC Holdings) is a branded chicken retail chain operator.

KFC Holding in Malaysia operates about 500 KFC restaurant nationwide also operates the
RasaMas chain of restaurant about 35 outlets. Approximately 52 Kedai Ayamas owning by the
Group of KFC Holding, making this company as nation`s first branded chicken and chicken-based
retail chain.

INTRODUCTION OF THE GAS DEEP


FRYER

 Deep fryers generally have a basket to lower the food into the oil tank and
raise it when the food has finished cooking.
 Fryer baskets purchased separately are not standardized and when
selected, need to fit into the deep fryer.
 There are timers and alarms, automatic devices to raise and lower the
basket into and out of the oil, ventilation systems to exhaust frying odors
from the kitchen, an oil filtration system or chemical treatment to improve
the re-usability of the same amount of oil, and mechanical or electronic
temperature controls that save energy and prevent fires by continuously
sensing and adjusting the temperature of the oil
SYSTEM FUNCTION OF GAS DEEP
FRAYER

1. The air source is taken from the compressor entering the air service unit.
2. After the air filtration process has taken place, the clean air enters the 3/2
detent switch dcv with spring returned.
3. Detent switch pressed, the air splits into two ways. its 3/2 push button with
spring-returned dcv and time delay valve normally closed.
4. The push button pressed, then the air that entered the time delay will enter
the 4/2 double solenoid dcv after a preset time delay has elapsed.
5. Then, the air automatically flow in the 4/2 dcv double solenoid and the
cylinder actuated.
6. Lastly, when the 3/2 push button dcv with spring-return is released, the
cylinder is retract and back to the original position.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, pneumatic systems can help improve and facilitate workers, especially
in the food industry to work efficiently. With the help of this pneumatic system tool,
we can improve and prevent fries from continuing to be greasy. In addition, the time
required to wait for the dry fries from being greasy is reduced and in turn speeds up
the preparation and packaging.
In addition, with the use of this pneumatic system, safety measures can be applied and
are very suitable to be used for workers who are just involved in the preparation of
this fast food. This tool can also be used in the long run and can also provide many
benefits in addition to simplifying the work. Therefore, we emphasize that the
availability of pneumatic circuits can help the food industry to continue to grow in
line with the development of other industries
