I’m lucky because I don’t have a best friend – I have three! Their names are Keith, Tony, and Megan. I met them
during my first year in college. When I started college I was very quiet and shy at first, but in my first week there I met
Keith and Tony. They were both a lot of fun, and knew everyone! Then we became friends with Megan, too. She was
studying Spanish like me. For the next three years, we all shared an apartment. We worked hard and spent the
summers together. We traveled all around the US, and visited Europe and Japan. Then we left university and got
jobs, and moved to different places. Tony and Megan got married. They live about twenty miles from me, so I see
them every month. Keith lives in Canada, so I only see him once a year, but we talk on the phone twice a week.
