1) Great time saver for the lazy gardener/ cook

I’m very excited to have discovered the smart scissor. I’m an avid grower of herb

and vegetables, but when it comes to using the resulting harvests in the kitchen, I’m

admitted lazy and my knife skills are weak at best. The tedium of prep- work /chopping

sometimes sends me to the spice cabinet to find something dried and ready to use. With

the addition of these scissors to my kitchen gadget arsenal, I believe these lazy habits will

change. The scissor appear to be of great quality and solid construction and made VERY

quick work of my first test herbs .Best of all, clean-up was super quick and easy. I’m

already pondering all of the other great uses for these scissors…And …will likely be

2) The BEST Scissors I’ve EVER used

I worried about the herbs getting stuck in between the blades of the scissors, but

this didn’t become much of an issue. I’d say 90% of the herbs slid through , even though

they were just rinced and still very wet. The remaining herbs were simple enough to

remove, because the brilliant creators of the smart scissors also created a blade cover

through the blades and your herbs will fall perfectly where you want them.

3) Great idea that saves time

These days, scissors ‘ blades are always sharp when they’re new. The real test of a

good pair of scissors is the distance between the two blade. The larger the gap between

the blades, the more likely the target item (paper, plastic) will bend into the gap before

being cut, making for a ragged cut or even no cut at all. The ideal pair of scissors will

slow no light between its closed blades if you hold it up to bright light source, such as a

window on a sunny day, and attempt to see the light between the blades. I own three

pairs of scissors, each of which is more than ten years old, that pass the light test. For

some reason, recently-made scissors seem to have blades that are very slightly curved, so

that their tips touch but there’s a gap closer to the joint.

4) Fast, easy, fun to use

I like to grow herbs and use them in salads, soups, and many other recipes. I

received these smart scissors as a birthday gift, and can’t believe how fast and easy it is to

cut up cilantro, basil, parsley, lovage, etc. My husband tried them today too for the first

time while making guacamole, and found that slicing the cilantro went very quickly. The

storage case-cleaner is very efficiently designed too. I ordered 4 these sets to give as gifts.

5) Clever design and great tool for the kitchen

This is a must have for every kitchen. I like to put fresh herbs into most of my

food. What an ingenious gadget to make it easier. Jest clip and there you have it. I use a

lot of green onions for various dishes. This was my prime purpose for ordering this item.

It does not disappoint. It even handled several stalks at a time, though I would

recommend using less to maximize the cutting power of the blades. It found that I could

cut up the green stalks with ease. However, when it came
