    FOREWORD

    IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation


    of national standards institutes (IS0 member bodies). The work of developing
    International Standards is carried out through IS0 technical committees. Every
    member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been set

    Part I : General

    1 SCOPE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION Take care to avoid the risk of contaminating the sample
    in any way. -
    This part of IS0 731 gives general instructions relating to
    methods of test for formic acid for industrial use. NOTE - A sample of not less than 250 g of the material is necessary
    to carry out the series of tests specified for this product (see the
    The present list of parts of IS0 731 is given in the annex. annex).

    4 TEST REPORT

    The test report for each determination shall include the
