THE LIFE AND WORKS OF RIZAL
From his childhood, Rizal really did show his talent and creativity when it comes to arts by sculpturing to painting. As a child,
where he’s rich with loving and caring parents, Rizal was taught good manner and raised obedient. At the age of 11 he had a
scholarship in Ateneo University for his excellency, but went back to his home town when he knew his mother’s condition and
decided to travel in Spain to study medicals to help him cure his mother’s sickness by the age of 20, and this is where his journey
started.
We see that Rizal was raised by seeing what the real world was of having an open-minded ideas that not just for his success but
described and told us how we’ve been treated by the hands of Spaniards. Though sometimes, Rizal face difficulties that almost
had him let go his works, but these didn’t stop him to seek new information and skills by going to different countries where he met
friends that helped him published some of his works that he didn’t know will be one of the most important he did for his country.
Rizal is a wise and smart young man of his age compared to the boys we have in our generation today where it’s only about
having cars and phones that’s their parent’s money and not working hard for it, where wise is selfish and being smart is called
“nerd”. Our generation is bolder, smarter, and wiser when it comes to the intelligence of technology and science. But we are not
smart enough to think how and what our choices will make to our lives and to people who surrounds us. I’m not pertaining only to
boys but all the kids that’s living in our generation today, that’s why learning life of Rizal will help us to be inspired through our
works, our love ones, our passion, and to our countrymen.
Jose Rizal wrote this poem to the dedication for his childhood days Calamba, Laguna. He had the happiest
and most memorable experience throughout his childhood as he grew here. A lot of friendliness and hospitality
that is shown by his peers that affects and influence as he developed he’s character as Rizal and his values
that he learned.
The message is about how proud he is that he was raised in the town where compassion is everywhere and
how peaceful it was, how he described what is like to be there where he grew with his family and friends, what
he learned, how he felt the fresh air, how this town comforts him and how he remembers his mother’s
presence.
