1. General This user manual describes details of testing SCHNEIDER SEPAM series T82 relays with the OMICRON Protection Test Template. General information on the usage of OMICRON Protection Testing Library items can be found in the OMICRON PTL user manual.
The template has been tested with the following relay:

2. Software and Hardware Requirements
To use this template, you must have a valid test license for the OMICRON Test Universe 2.41 SR1 software or higher versions and the following test modules: Control Center Quick CMC Ramping Pulse Ramping State Sequencer Overcurrent
Any CMC test set can be used with this Protection Test Template.

3. Hardware There are multiple possibilities of wiring a SCHNEIDER SEPAM series T82 relay to a CMC test set. The advised connections are shown in Figure 1. These connections are the default settings in the Hardware Configuration of the PTT.
Although the functions listed above are not supported by the Protection Test Template, the Relay Parameter Section of the XRIO Converter includes all protection parameters of the relay.
5. XRIO Converter The Test Object already contains the SCHNEIDER SEPAM series T82, which includes setting parameters of the modelled protection relay. The setting parameters are built as an image of the SCHNEIDER SFT2841 software.
5.1 Relay Parameter Section
The main block Relay Parameter Section contains the general setting and the protection block. The setting parameters in these blocks must be set to be the same as set in the relay.
Note: In case the zero sequence CTs (CSH30, CSH120 and CSH200) are used for ground fault protection (50N/51N and 67N) the pickup value are calculated into the secondary values of CTs already. In case testing these function which primary injection the converter is not supported.
5.2 Addition Information
5.2.1 Test Tolerance
Two parameters in this test block can be set to increase and decrease the relay tolerance for testing purpose.
