    A. Problem Solving

    1. ANSWER: 44
    2. ANSWER:
    Step 1: The three angles in a triangle are in the ration of 4:3:2.
    Let the angles be 4x, 3x, 2x.
    Step 2: Since the sum of the angles in a triangle is equal to 180°.
    We set up 4x,3x,2x and add them up:
    Step 3:
    4x + 3x + 2x = 180°
    9x = 180°
    180
    x= = 20°
    9
    the angles in the triangle,
    4 x 20 = 80°
    3 x 20 = 60°
    2 x 20 = 40°
    Step 4 : So, the degrees of each three angles are 80°, 60°, 40°.

    B. ESSAY
    1. ANSWER: As a student, math is very useful in my everyday life. Math can help me do
    many things that are important in my everyday life and I have three (3) task for which math is
    important. Managing, budgeting, and analyzing. The algebra, arithmetic and, probability and
    statistics are very useful in my everyday life as a student. For instances, I can use them on
    managing my time such as keeping track on my class schedule and keeping track on my
    activities or assignments. Also, in budgeting such as managing my money, buying something
    and, understanding discounts, as well as in predicting and analyzing something such like
    weather and watching sports.

    3. ANSWER: One of many jobs that depict how important mathematics to their occupation is
    the math teachers. From planning lessons, creating sample problems, and writing test. They
    also often use math and their math skills when grading math problems and assignments. Due
    to the fact that they are already knew math, they also need math to teach their students in a
    very effective way. For instance, to help their student to become more engaged, math
    teachers think of something for their students to be more cooperative, they often use real-
    world examples such as making routine budget, random statistics and they also use hooks
    like clips from commercial or television shows to attract students’ attention so that they
    become intrigued in a lesson or with a problem.
