    READ THE FOLLOWING THEORY

    1. Dialog. There are two expressions. Giving opinion and The respons (Agree or
    Disagree)

    Janitra : I like Harry Porter movies because the magic seems so real. (OPINION)
    Fauzan : I don’t agree with you. Harry Porter movies are just overrated.
    (AGREE/DISAGREE)

    Kenzie : I like playing tag because it is so much fun. (OPINION)


    Deana : I don’t like playing tag because people end up fighting. (AGREE/DISAGREE)

    Renda : In my opinion, the government should provide means of sustenance for under
    privileged people instead of building tall towers. (OPINION)
    Rahmat : I agree with what you are saying but have you ever thought that building tall
    tower provides work forunemployed people? (AGREE/DISAGREE)

    2. The structure of giving opinion.


    Subject Verb Object
    I Agree With what you are saying
    I Don’t agree With you
    We Believe This is not the right way to handle things
    I Reckon This could be right considering the reasons you
    have provided
    I Doubt That this is possible
    We Assume You are blased this issue
    I Think You are mistaken
    I Don’t think So

    3. Three levels of giving response (agree or disagree)

    (1) Strong (kuat)


     I’m absolutely certain that…. (Saya benar-benar yakin bahwa…)
     I’m convinced that…. (Saya yakin bahwa…)
     I strongly believe that… (Saya sangat percaya bahwa…)

    (2) Medium (sedang)


     I believe…. (Saya percaya…)
     I don’t doubt that…. (Saya tidak meragukannya…)
     I feel certain that… (Saya yakin bahwa…)
     My impression is that…. (Kesan menurut saya…)
     As I see it… (Seperti yang saya lihat…)
     It seems to me that… (Tampaknya bagi saya…)
     It strikes me that… (Ini mengejutkan saya bahwa…)

    (3) Weak (lemah)


     I think…. (saya pikir…)
     I don’t think… (Saya tidak berpikir...)
     I’m fairly certain that…. (Saya cukup yakin bahwa…)
     I’m quite certain that…. (Saya cukup yakin bahwa…)
     I would have thought that…. (Saya akan berpikir bahwa...)
    4. Giving opinion can be from personal (pendapat pribadi) or general (pendapat
    umum)

    Personally, I think ... Almost everyone ...
    In my experience ... Some people say that ...
    I strongly believe that ... Some people believe ...
    As far as I am concerned ... Of course, many argue ...

    5. Expressing AGREE or DISAGREE to Opini

    Of course I am sorry, I don’t agree with you
    This is absolutely right I am not sure I agree with you

    I couldn’t agree more I am afraid I have to disagree with you
    I agree, I never thought of that I do not believe that
    Neither do I By this mean
