    Love it or hate it, a phone call is something you can't pick up (the phone) 接(电话)

    In Sentences

    teacher. Give reasons and explanations for your

    use words you learnt in Expressions to help you.
    Q1. Have you made any phone calls in English? If you have, what
    was the call about? If you haven't, think of some situations*
    where you may need to make an English phone call.

    Q2. Have you ever got any “wrong number” calls? How did you
    know the person had dialed a wrong number? Did you tell
    him/her politely about the mistake, or just hang up?

    Q3. Have you ever got any fraudulent or scam calls*? How did
    you respond to it? Can you think of some differences between
    scam/fraud calls and wrong number calls?

    Q4. Role play: You work at ABC Company. Your co-worker Allen is in an important
    meeting, and you are answering a phone call from his client Alice and taking messages for him.

    Funny Customer A man calls a customer service to "JUST SHUT THIS [COMPUTER] DOWN RIGHT NOW!"
