    Dehumidification tube, 230 mm (mainflow) replacement.

    OM reference gas filter assembly including O-ring replacement.

    OM reference disc filter replacement.

    PM sticker replacement.

    Visual inspection – Check that the front cover is intact.

    Visual inspection – Check that all connectors are intact, clean and attached properly.

    Visual inspection – Check that the module casing and the latch are clean and intact.

    Visual inspection – Check that the module and gas sampling and spirometry tubes are clean and intact.

    Visual inspection – Check that the D-fend Pro and its connectors are clean and intact.

    Functional check – Make connections for the functional check.

    Functional check – Configure monitor for functional check.

    Functional check – Gas sampling system leak test – Check that the pressure reading does not drop more
    than 2 mmHg during 25 seconds.

    Functional check – Gas sampling system leak test – Make sure that the tubing fits nicely into the module
    casing.

    Functional check – Sample flow rate check – Check the sample flow rate reading from the flowmeter.
    The flow rate should be within the specification limit 120 ± 20 ml/min.

    Functional check – Reference gas flow rate check – Check that the Reference Flow is within the following
    range: 10 - 50 ml/min.

    Functional check – Fan – Check that the gas module's fan is running behind the D-fend Pro water trap.

    Functional check – Zero valve operation – (Select CO2 > Setup) Check that Gas Module (Mod) has been
    selected as Measurement Source.

    Functional check – Zero valve operation – Check that the CO2, N2O and anesthesia agent values drop
    back near 0% and the O2 reading near 21% (room air).

    Functional check – Gas calibration – Ensure that the module is connected to the monitor.

    Functional check – Gas calibration – Ensure that you have a new D-fend Pro water trap in use.

    Functional check – Gas calibration – Check that the message Calibration OK is displayed for a few
    seconds.

    Functional check – Agent identification – Check that anesthesia agent is identified as Desflurane and the
    IDu value (=agent ID unreliability) is lower than 75.
    Functional check – Ambient pressure – Check that that the ambient pressure value does not differ more
    than ± 10 mmHg from the value shown by the barometer.

    Functional check – Occlusion detection – Check that the Sample line blocked message appears in the
    parameter window within 30 seconds.

    Functional check – Air leak detection – Check that the Check Water Trap message appears in the
    parameter window within 30 seconds.

    Functional check – Gas exhaust blockage – Check that the Sample gas out message appears in the
    parameter window within 30 seconds.

    Functional check – Airway gases – Check that a normal CO2 waveform appears in the waveform field
    and the EtCO2 and FiCO2 values are updated in the parameter window.

    Functional check – Apnea detection – Check that the Apnea (CO2) alarm appears in the message field
    within 30 seconds.

    Functional check – Complete the functional check.

    4 years

    Dehumidification tube, 85 mm (zero line) replacement.

    CO2 absorber replacement.
