Background
Who is "TylerDurden"?
Or, more specifically, what are these post archives about and what do they have to do with his involvement with the
"Seduction Community"?
Yes, "Tyler Durden" was a fictional character in the book "Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk (which was also made into a
film). But TylerDurden (one word) is also the chosen pen-name of an extremely prolific poster on the mASF Forums
an one of the characters in the in the best-selling book The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists,
released in 2005. He was initially a protégé of the pickup artist Mystery, and later after having a falling out with
Mystery, formed a pickup company called Real Social Dynamics together with aspiring pickup artist and business
school student Papa. Together, Papa and TylerDurden formed the basis for the antagonistic characters in the book
The Game.
TylerDurden was known for various contributions to the seduction community, for examples concepts such as the
secret society and AMOGs. Tyler still travels the world today teaching men through his company Real Social
Dynamics.
What many people do not know is that Tyler was one of the most prolific posters ever to hit the seduction community,
(his posts number in the thousands) and for years the just about the only place he ever posted was on the mASF
Forum on FastSeduction.com.
Some of the TylerDurden posts will also help readers of The Game to better appreciate events and happenings that
occurred in the book. Many of the attributions of article posts stated in The Game as being from "Mystery’s Lounge"
were actually posts made to the mASF forum on FastSeduction.com. This archive of PDF files are a complete

Good to see you’re feeling better. In response to this question-
It IS possible, and not uncommon. Here’s how: your life is lacking, and you
use the absence of the chick as a rationalization for why your life is the way
it is or for why you feel the way you do.
An example: My friend impregnated the daughter of the principle of his prep

school when he was 15. He ended up having to leave the school and never saw
the girl again that he really connected with. Now, 6 years later, he still

Manifestis, I am going to offer you some harsh criticism. If you do not

appreciate it, then write something expressing that you don’t, and I will not
bother you again. I want to first mention that 2 of my BEST friends are
Asians.. I hang around with them every week, and sometimes hang out in China
town in Toronto where one of them comes from (since we go to university
together.) I have insight into the problems that Asians face during PU.
Are you not KOREAN? I’m going to tell you something you should have already
realized. Routines like RJ’s IC/lovevs.att, and the ones you mentioned work
ONLY for guys who already seem at least semi-alpha. If you are going after
Asian girls then these will work WELL, because Asian girls desire friendship
and connection as part of their culture.
But, judging that you are having trouble, you are probably going for
non-asians. I’m sorry to inform you, then, that you have an ALPHA DEFICIT that
must be rectified PRIOR to going into these routines. One of my asian friends
is probably a 9 in the looks dept., and is fluent in ASF and we discuss PU
regularly (he is my gym partner and he is fairly buffed like myself). He still
can NOT PU with these routines, unless he has first exhibited alphaness.

I’M SORRY, I’m trying to help you. We all have physical nonideals to work
with. I’m 22 and I can see my hair line slightly starting to recede -at 22-.
In 5 years I may be bald, which will make things harder for me than being asian
makes things for you.. BUT I will ADAPT and I am NOT worried. Being Asian in
NORTH AMERICA is a problem because girls grow up with a preconceived
CONCEPT/IDEAL of what kind of guy they want. Although this problem is slowly
being rectified, the media still focuses beauty on mostly WHITE men and women.

You have NO excuse, so don’t use my above comments as a rationalization for
failure. I’m just explaining that you must FIRST remove that barrier PRIOR to
running the routines.
How? Well as far as appearance, either embrace asian style and use it to your
benefit (I don’t mean wear robes - just sport some really COOL stylish asian
styles), OR, go for a totally Americanized style to downplay your
non-idealness. As far as personality, they have to see you as a human, and a
human who is a potential sex partner (ie CONFIDENT and ALPHA).. the Mystery
Method is unlikely to work for you because the SUPER HAPPY CHINAMAN is a
fucking STEREOTYPE.
Since you are Asian, you must not FOCUS on these routines.
Listen, for a PUA, these routines are effective because they appear ALPHA, and
the girl is thinking "I wanna fuck him but I’m scared he’s a player/I need to
feel a connection since I can’t just fuck anybody". Girls may be intimidated
by a PUA alphaness, and RJ/SS puts her into a state where she can give in to
her desires/break down her resistance. Unless a girl is thinking these things
already, there is no use in running these routines. THESE ROUTINES ARE
DESIGNED TO BREAK DOWN RESISTANCE. If they are not RESISTING you in the first
place, they are pointless (although putting certain girls into states via SS
may work, but it is NOT an overly high percentage method unless you are ROSS
himself and can use NLP like a PRO).
Here’s a chart for you (read from some book long time ago)
Nice guy (insecure/nonalpha, makes up for it by being nice)

Good guy (secure/confident)
Macho guy (insecure/nonalpha, compensates with bragging, over the top macho
crap etc.)
As an Asian, you don’t want to use the "I’ll show you my sensitive side" shit
that alpha PUAs would, because you’ll appear NICE. You don’t want to go
overboard on the Mystery method because you’ll appear Super Happy which is sort
of the Asian equivalent of a macho guy in North America. You want to be the
good guy.. fun, exciting, secure, a great guy to talk to. Not a TRY-HARD. You
might try learning ways to BAIT girls to ask you about your good qualities, and
let them feel that they have discovered some overlooked great guy (not that you
want them to think you’re ’overlooked’, but you get what I’m saying I’m sure).

I realize you’re well read, and may have already, but REVIEW them.
IN CLOSING, I think that you have done well in understanding how all of these
concepts are links. However, you are missing the point of what they are
intended to accomplish. These tools are not just like missles that are
launched at hit or miss. They are used in conjunction to create an IMPERSSION
that is all enthralling and makes girls want to be lead by you. I suggest
considering going off ASF for a while (except maybe to post something really
important/specific), because if you are constantly being bombarded with new
information, your mind will experience paralysis by analysis. Routines are
just meant to prevent nasty lulls in convos, and maybe give her a bit of an
impression that works in your favour. They are not the staple of your
approach, though they are necessary.

Patterns will not help you. You need to change your whole attitude towards how
you are approaching this chick. You NEED to STOP her thought process or you
are going to be the guy that she justifies her non-slut existence with before
proceeding to fall back into her old lifestyle with someone other than you.
As for your online transcript:

-don’t admit that you’re a virgin. Just say ’I don’t discuss specifics about

If you have promised her exclusivity then you are betraying her and you should
feel guilty. Regardless of the polyamorous views promoted on this site, you
should always feel guilty when you break your word to someone. These
relationship expectations should have been managed PRIOR to any agreements.
Now you must either live with the guilt or live with being in an exclusive
relationship. There is no healthy way to alleviate guilt for something that
you should feel guilty for.

I overheard my younger sister talking to her friend the otherday (they’re both
20 and attractive):

This is the reason for flaking.. Only SUPERHBs (or those who think they are)

HOWEVER: In recognizing this, realize that you have two things going for

you have to make her want you.
2) The law of congruency. She may start to like you over the next few days, as
a way to justify agreeing to your offer. (likewise, you can break down her
resistance by getting her to kiss you on the cheak or something, and then
congruency laws will make her like you more as the night wears on).
Don’t take it personally if you suspect that a girl has done this to you, just
realize that it won’t be a walk in the park. Treat it like if it works its a

You are actually in a worse dilemma than you likely realize. If you decide to
play it safe and turn down the threeway, you may comprimise your her view of
you as sexually exciting etc. If you take her up on it, she may not even be

The only surefire way to keep yourself out of the bad zone with her if you do

Speaking honestly here, I have 2 really close Asian friends now, and Asians are
just like white people to me. But before I met them, I used to think that it
was weird to talk to Asian people I didn’t know that well.. It funny, because
at my university, the Asians stick to themselves and GET THIS: they actually
sleep during the day and congregate at night so that they can avoid all the
other people (like a secret society, its hilarious). My friends aren’t like
that though.
The thing is, I also had some classmates growing up who were CBCs (Canadian
born Chinese) and it didn’t even OCCUR to me that they were any different than
me..
One of my friend’s friends is obsessed with appearing western (his dream car is
a Pontiac Sunfire and he is a millionaire’s kid). He dresses white and acts
white. He even ignores other asians because he doesn’t want to appear like
those ’secret-society’ asian types I just mentioned (which as much as I hate to
admit it, he is actually right that at my school if asians are seen in groups
white people assume that they don’t want to talk to us). I like this guy but I
don’t respect him as a man, because I don’t think that you should comprimise
who you are and I think that he is insecure. Still though, he does get white
girls. But honestly, can you tell me you’d wanna live in his headspace? I
hope not.
I really don’t know you, so my comments are maybe very unhelpful.. maybe you
already have this angle totally covered.. its just that I get this image from
your posts of this like stereo typical overly happy chinaman that probably

Gunwitches method is to not dwell on things and get laid (from what I

Buddy, I’m sorry if you are put off by the possibility that you didn’t have to
comprimise yourself to get the same results (or better) that you’ve gotten.
This isn’t a flame board, so I’m not likely to answer any more of these posts,
unless there is something productive being said.
I’ve learned to live without guilt by not doing anything to feel guilty for.
Calling what I was saying "bullshit" seemed pretty inappropriate for a board
that is trying to be productive, as there was nothing that I said in there that
was contra-ASF.
I don’t supplicate girls. That means I don’t comprimise myself for them.
If a girl is not good enough to make me want to fuck noone but her, I don’t
agree to an LTR with her. Simple as that. If this guy is all revved about
ASF, but he thinks that he loves his girlfriend, he should go out and flirt
with a bunch of girls but not take it farther than that. The only point that I
can think of being in an LTR that you don’t intend to honour, is the fear that
you can’t get a consistent supply of sex without it. Can you think of another
reason? You can’t say that you like the companionship, because you could have
gotten that without committing to an LTR.
A real man does not need to lie to girls to get a constant supply of sex, and a
real man knows that keeping his word to people who respect him is important.
If a girl gets into an LTR with you, you shouldn’t be agreeing to it unless she
respects you. So there is no reason to lie to her.

If you have anything to say to this, READ "who is formhandle?" (ie, the creator
of this board) on the home directory. Formhandle is someone who is dedicated
to improving himself. He does that by many means, such as artistically, web
design/business, and learning to better himself via ASF methods.. I doubt that
someone commited to improving himself would condone the sort of ethics that you
are speaking of.
I respect myself, and nobody (in real life) ever fucks with me. They know.
People get out of my way and respect me. If I need a huge loan for some new
business plan I’m running, ITS DONE NO CONTRACTS NOTHING. People know I’m for
real by the look in my eyes. How do you think that translates in PU? Think
about it? I am not getting off bragging about this on the net. I am trying to
show people the benefits that I have gotten through self-respect. I hope that
this is productive for people on here.
Psychologists have shown time and time again that carrying secrets causes
stress on "normal" emotionally healthy people. This can be seen in people’s
eyes.. You can see it in their stress level. You are suggesting a very
demeaning lifestyle to the people on here, and it concerns me, because you
actually do know what you’re talking about when it comes to ASF, so people may
take you seriously.

This is AWESOME advice methinks.. I knew there was some look that I was
