    RE: DIOCESE OF PARAÑAQUE SOCIAL COMMUNICATIONS MINISTRY GENERAL


    ASSEMBLY
    Dear Fathers, Brothers and Sisters:

    In 2020 when this current crisis began, all of us exerted effort in trying to reach out to the lay faithful
    and our parishioners, using Social Communication and Multimedia as the means to communicate and be
    able to allow everyone to virtually participate in several Spiritual Events and even attend the celebration
    of the Holy Eucharist via live stream.

    With this development, parishes and even the Pastoral Department was urged to form Technical Team/s
    in order to facilitate the broadcast of live streamed Masses, Spiritual Exercises as well as the various
    commission programs.

    After more than a year of this experience, the need to formally organize the Diocese of Paranaque Social
    Communications Ministry or DOPSOCCOM, became a felt need.

    In view thereof, I am calling for the first General Assembly of this newly established ministry on
    SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. via Zoom.

    May I request Your Reverence, brothers and Sisters to send two (2) parish representatives and two (2)
    representatives, (for a total of 12 reps), from the Diocesan Commissions, to this virtual gathering.

    Let us come together and get ourselves organized in order to promote camaraderie and a more
    harmonious collaboration among us who are serving the church through this ministry.
