    Travel broadens the mind. Do you agree?

    Nowadays, it is commonly heard that travel broadens the mind. I agree with this
    statement, because in my opinion, travel is a unique experience that allows you to get
    closer to new cultures in different ways.
    First of all, each place you visit keeps a different mystique that leads us to try to
    understand the way of thinking of the society in a certain time. The architecture reveals
    the context in which they were built and holds a part of the history of each country.
    Moreover, if we interact with people from different places we can have different points
    of view on different topics. This speaks to the diversity we get from travelling and the
    knowledge of new things.
    Knowing history helps us to understand why certain decisions were made over time.
    There is no better way to learn history that travelling.
    To sum up, the opportunity we have to travel and get know cultures through places and
    people not only broadens our minds, but also makes us more tolerant and respectful.
