Theme #10. Word processing in application.

The objective of the lesson: to teach the main technological operations in the
environment of the word-processor for creation and integration of various text
documents, graphic objects, tables.

Tasks of training: formation of skills of work with utility programs, use the word-
processor in the professional activity.

Main issues of the theme:

Development of technology of work with styles. Registration in the text of shots and drop caps
1 Create the document under the name of your group and save it in 4 2
the "Documents\student work".
2 a) Find the reference concerning automatic replacement. Copy a 8 4
fragment in the beginning of the document, using:
 Clipboard (the first paragraph);
 Context menu (the second paragraph).
b) Move the first paragraph to the third with the method "drag-
and-drop";
c) Issue the beginning of each paragraph different style of a Drop
Cap;

You need to take a video of tasks №6 and №9

6 Enter the text into a table cell according to a sample №3, observing 8 4
formatting (a font – TimesNewRoman, the size – 10).
7 Make calculations in the table. Construct the chart according to the 4 2
table.
8 Insert a new column to the left of the second and a new line of the 8 4
table, having arranged her above the first line.
9 Split the table into two parts. Convert the table to the text and 4 2
understand features of such execution of tables. Execute the return
convert the text to the table.
Master technology of creation of documents in which graphic objects are used: standard
drawings; graphic objects from the WordArt collection; graphic objects from SmartArt
figure collection. Insert of special symbols. Creation of formulas.
You need to take a video of task №10
10 Insert the drawing which will serve as a background into the 8 4
document (to watch a sample №1). In the drawing enter the text by
means of the WordArt tools and describe the drawing by means of
notes. Unite the drawing and inscriptions in uniform graphic group.
Look at various options of interaction of the drawing and text at
change of properties of the drawing (situation, flow).
11 Establish «Portrait» orientation to even, «Landscape» orientation to 6 3
odd pages.
Split the current window into two parts.
