INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES APPEARING FOR THE ONLINE EXAMIANTION
1. Candidate should strictly follow social distancing & COVID-19 guidelines as prescribed by Govt. of India & Local Authorities.
2. Candidates are advised to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:
a) Admit Card / Call letter (a clear printout on A4 size paper) & a copy of online application form.
b) Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
c) Personal water bottle.
d) Proper Face Mask.
e) Hand gloves are not allowed.
3. Please ensure that all the information on this admit card including photograph, signature and barcode are clearly visible on the printout of the
Admit Card.
4. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card information, please contact our helpdesk 9840001273 / 6385160814 immediately.
5. Candidate's entry into the test centre is subject to the verification of the admit card. If the details/information in the admit card are found to be
tampered with, and/or are in disagreement with the candidate's particulars available with the test centre-in-charge, the candidate will not be
permitted to attend the test.
6. You are required to bring an original of any one of the following as photo identity proof along with your Admit Card to the test centre:
a) Voter ID Card
b) Passport
c) Driving license
d) PAN Card
e) Aadhaar Card/ Full Page Colour Printout of E-Aadhaar Card letter.
7. Biometric of the candidates will be recorded during Admit Card verification and only then he/she will be allowed to appear for the online test.
8. Candidates’ are required to report to the test Centre at least half an hour before of the commencement of examination.
9. Candidate shall sign in the space provided in this admit card only in the presence of the Invigilator.
10. Online objective type test will be of two hours duration with 75 multiple choice questions.
11. Evaluation policy: Every correct answer carries 3 marks. Every wrong answer carries -1 mark. Zero mark for not attempted questions.
12. Use of electronic calculators/logarithmic tables etc. is not permitted and system enabled calculators will be available.
13. Candidates are not allowed to bring any personal belongings like mobile phones/camera/data storage devices/ books/bags/textual
material/printed or written bits of paper, etc., inside the exam hall.
14. Admission for the online test is purely provisional. Your candidature shall remain provisional till detailed verification of information furnished by
you is undertaken and you are found eligible in all respect.
15. Travelling Allowance (TA) fare equivalent to II Class rail fare or bus fare by shortest route will be paid only to SC/ST candidates, beyond 30 km
from test venue. The amount of TA will be credited to the respective Bank Account which is provided at the time of filling online application form.
TA will be paid only if the candidates are found eligible to appear for online test and appeared in the test. Hence, you are required to submit the
TA claim in the prescribed format that is sent with the Admit Card along with a copy of the caste certificate, original tickets of journey performed
by you.
16. The PwD candidates’ with VH(Visually Handicapped) shall bring scribe of their own choice and cost for the online examination. Hence, it is
required to submit duly filled Scribe Declaration Form to the invigilator at the time of Online examination.
17. Candidates found violating the instruction will be disqualified.
18. No request for postponement of online test, change of venue, etc. will be entertained.
19. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
20. Results will be published on the IGCAR website only, hence candidates are advised to visit the website www.igcar.gov.in regularly for further
instructions/updates.
