INTRODUCTION
The purpose of writing this report is to provide necessary details and information about
the online course (Python for beginners) that I have completed.

CISCO CODE RIDER 2021 (PROGRAMMING ESSENTIAL IN


PYTHON)
The PCAP: PROGRAMMING ESSENTIAL IN PYTHON was provide by the e Cisco
Networking Academy. Cisco networking academy is a global IT and cybersecurity
education program that partners with learning institutions to provide courses on various
field of computer science and cyber security. Python is a programming language, which
supports cross-platform operating systems which makes building applications with it all
the more convenient. Some of the globally known applications such as YouTube,
BitTorrent, DropBox, etc. use Python to achieve their functionality.

Matlab onramp course (mathworks | training services)


The Matlab onramp course was provided by Mathworks Training services via online
mode.
MATLAB is a programming and numeric computing platform used by millions of
engineers and scientists to analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models .
BACKGROUND STUDY

CISCO CODE RIDER 2021 (PROGRAMMING ESSENTIAL IN


PYTHON)
The course was recommended by the Training and placement of our college. The
course was designed with 5 Modules including Practice Labs, Chapter Quizzes and
Final Chapter. Along with course I was learning about python from various other
sources such as geeksforgeeks and YouTube to know more about the course subject
and its application.

The courses included the basics of matlab and its applications. Along with course I have
also learnt about the Matlab and its applications and explore the various datatypes and
inbuilt functions of the matlab platform.
WORK DONE

The work done in the certification process includes
● Gaining knowledge on how a program is executed in a computer environment.
● Preparing for the PCAP–Python Certified Associate Programmer Certification
● Learning universal concepts of computer programing and syntax and semantics
of the Python language
● writing Python programs using standard language infrastructure and learning
about the t common library function in Python 3.
● Appearing the quizzes.
● Problem-solve using an algorithmic approach.

As it was an online onramp course the work done during the certification course
includes learning the structure and concepts (variables, inbuilt function, and graph
implementation) of the matlab programming.
RESULT

As a result of this course I learnt:
● Introduction to Python and Computer Programming
● About Data Types, Variables, Basic Input-Output Operations, Basic
Operators, conditional Execution, Loops, Lists and List Processing,
● About Functions, Tuples, Dictionaries, and Data Processing
● Modules, Packages, String and List Methods, and Exceptions
And applied my knowledge and programmed a platform to know the weather of a place
and leant about image processing after completion of the course.

Matlab onramp course (mathworks | training services)


As a result of the following certification course I learn matlab and got familiar with
MATLAB to perform calculations and create variables. I learnt indexing to extract and
modify rows, columns, and elements of MATLAB arrays. I learnt how to plot Visualize
variables using MATLAB's plotting functions.
CONCLUSION

While concluding the report, I would like to say the above course helped me to gain
knowledge in python and improve my coding and problem-solving skills. The certificate
is attached along with the report.
