ANSWER
What do you see? I see a teacher giving students an image for them to analyze
what the poem is trying to tell them about. They are also
sharing their own ideas and making the classroom a friendly-
environment that allows students to express what is in their
mind. It is a classroom free and open were everyone’s idea is
welcome.
What does it remind you of? It reminds me of being young again, of being mesmerized of
images the way I have never been before. It is fantasizing to
see young children sharing their ideas and answering
questions about the image. It reminds me also of being in an
art gallery being captured by the images and digging deeper
to what I see. There are so much to look on to in every crafts
we see.
What is the artist’s purpose? The artists or the filmmaker purpose is for us to see how we
can utilize images, photographs or any multimedia in
showcasing the macro skills of the students especially in
viewing. It also gives us the idea on how we can facilitate a
classroom full of visual learners and any kind of learning
styles. The author also wants to emphasize how children are
able to perceive ideas from something and improve their
communication skill. He or she wants to tell us that students
first learn small details like colors or what are familiar to them
and then as their knowledge became broader they can dig
deeper and get meanings in a higher level of thinking. All in
all, viewing helps children to organize, improve and create
ideas as well as share and empathize with others perceptions
and experiences.
