    The University of the Philippines Diliman tested the hardness and tensile strength of rubber samples. For the hardness test, three cylindrical rubber samples were tested using a Type A durometer and found to have hardness readings between 62-64. For the tensile test, three rubber strip samples were pulled until failure and recorded maximum loads between 292-330N, tensile strengths of 17.0-18.2MPa, and elongations between 484-587%. Both tests followed standard methods and the results pertained only to the specific samples tested.
