Nature Is Speaking
According to Paul Watson if we wipe out the fish, the oceans are going to die. If the
ocean die, we die. This is one of the representations of the nature is speaking; the fish represent
the vegetation, rocks, soil, atmosphere, microorganisms and a lot more that can be found in the
environment. The ocean represents the environment. And we, the human represents the one who
wipe out the fish into the ocean. We are the one who’s responsible of destroying our nature.
However, our nature is like a phoenix who rise up from the ashes of the bridge that the human
burned, our nature can stand again despite of the things that the human did just to satisfy their
desire to change and develop the nature. Therefore, the nature doesn’t need people– it’s always
the people who needs it. It’s really terrifying how the nature can also abandon us, we are not the
only one who can abandon and neglect the nature or the environment because the nature can also
do that to us; it’s either the nature can take us or leave us behind. The human cannot function
without the help of the environment but our environment can function by itself– it can live by
itself. The nature can evolve as the time passes by and the human is not ready for that.
The future of the human depends on nature, it always about the survival of the human
here on earth. The environment is helping the human to survive because our nature is giving us a
lot of things that we need such as the air, light, water, soil, food, and even a shelter. In an
addition to that there are a lot of resources that the environment can give us, it’s just the people
who did the work to make or build something but the environment is the one who’s responsible
in giving us the resources. All the things that we did to the environment will always land on us.
Why? the environment is not the only one who’s affected by the human activities but also the
people itself made the things that can harm the people especially the children. Take a look at this
example, if the human doesn’t build a factory and a vehicle that produces a lot of smoke our air
won’t be polluted and our ozone layer won’t become so thin, and by these it will affect our life
especially we are taking our health at risk. The nature is not the one who’s responsible in making
us suffer but the people who did things just for sake of development and industrialization or
urbanization. Forgetting the importance of the environment and ignoring the aftermath of their
action that will affect the biodiversity and the living and non-living organism or worst the
extinction not just the non-living organism but also the extinction of human. If we wanted to
have a beautiful and good environment, we should take an action because a beautiful
environment starts with us, the human.
