HR Requesting System User Guide

The HR requesting system user guide outlines the process for employees to request different types of time off. It allows users to select the request type from a dropdown, then provides screens to enter start and end dates. Requests require manager approval via email. The system validates that end dates are not before start dates, and checks users' time-off balances. Upon approval, confirmation emails are sent to the user and manager. Non-employee vacations also use this workflow, with the addition of an employee ID lookup.
