1 - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Assignments are important; however, they should be worthwhile to merit the pupils attentions and
time to improve their reading ability. Time is precious, So teachers should find a way to give pupils
additional knowledge especially in reading.
Felixian volunteers together with the hard-working coordinators encourage good things to
parents and pupils to accomplish the ultimate goal of the BRB4 program easily and well.
Following guidelines and memorandums F.P. Felix E/S Unit 1 tried its best to comply and
continue striving to reach out the goal of BRB4 program. Surely , after all the sacrifices both
volunteers and teachers has been the success of pupil’s opportunity to read as an evident of attaining
the goal the said program.
The support of parents and some barangays official inspired us even more to offer quality service
to our pupils in our main goal, so the implementation of the said program was really a great
opportunity of our school to cater reading assessment to struggling pupils in nearby school
community.
Through the effort of teachers, parent’s volunteers and teacher in-charge, the school keep a
gathering data posting information in the different places to strengthened oneness and enjoy sharing
knowledge to pupils in their home.
Francisco P. Felix Elementary School Unit 1 will continue work with passion and create a
pleasant place for leaning not only inside the classroom but also outside the school and inspire pupils
to love reading.
Looking forward for a desirable outcome, achieve the BRB4 program “ Darating ang Araw wala

2- SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENT/S WITHIN THE YEAR

Francisco P. Felix Elementary School U1 has been 30 years in service since 1990 by giving a quality education to
all the Rizaleños student. Since then, there has been enormous progress in achieving the greatest development in
the school. The total enrollment rate increased by 80% number of children since year 2000 and the number of
children out of school has dropped by almost half. There has been also dramatically increase in literacy rate.
These are the noteworthy of success!

The remarkable success of the Francisco P. Felix Elementary School Unit 1 will not be possible not because to all
the School Head’s, Teacher’s, Non-Teaching Staff and Stakeholders who worked hand in hand with love to
achieve the goals, even the lowest position has a function for the success in the school.

Francisco P. Felix ES Unit 1 tend to believe in one word and that is COLLABORATION! This has been the
greatest golden secret that until now still existed and became norms of the school.

The Teachers in the school spend the vast majority of their time at the school to promote learning, inspire the
students to bring out their best, help them become the better version of themselves and productive member of the
community.

Even in the midst of Pandemic, the School tried their very best to maintain the academic quality. Francisco P.
Felix Elementary School are forced to do things differently to provide quality education to all the Rizaleños.
Everything has changed, but the COLLABORATION of all the Teachers and Staff still remained even the
Physical Interaction is prohibited.

From Face to Face the Teacher’s and Staff are advised and given a lot of training to get ready to enter the “New
Normal” it may not be easy for everybody, but still the Teachers and Staff keep of fighting and believed that even
the Pandemic will not be drawback their dedication to continue to serve the Rizaleños pupils to give the best
learning that they can through the use of different New Platform of Teaching.

The school keep on searching the creative and innovative ways to provide quality education to all the learners
ddespite the world situations right now. Last September 11,2020 the Division of Rizal launched their program
BRB4 or Blue Rizal: Barangayan para sa Bawat Bata Bumabasa for the Rizaleños pupil and all the School in
Rizal are advised to implement the said program. The Francsico P. Felix ES-U1 sees that the Program as an
opportunity to provide education to all the learners since face-to-face classes is prohibited. The Staff worked

together to recruit the volunteers to help every child to read. The Teachers keep on giving advised and technical
assistance to all the Volunteers how to teach reading. All the staff in the school even the smallest unit been part of
the campaign to awaken the mind of all the people in the community most especially the parents and learners of
the school with regards to the importance of “Knowing how to READ”. They’ve used Tarpaulin, Pamphlet and
even the power of social media to reach out to all the parents and Learners. The Teachers are kept on giving
feedback and help those pupils who are struggling in reading through the use of Google Meet or Zoom. The
Volunteers played the vital role to help the teacher to teach the child in the community who’s having a hard time
to read. Since then, The Teachers and Volunteers build harmonious relationship that keeps the bond of the School
and Stakeholder strong.

It is just the beginning of what we called NEW NORMAL, we may not see the rainbow but still believed in the
silver lining and the magic of the Golden Secret of the School and That is COLLABORATION! It may be easy or
tough for everybody to follow but in the heart of the Felixians Educator COLLABORATION of the team is the
main course of the success that we are looking for.

The Felixians Educator works hard with the MIND, HEART and SOUL for all the Rizalenos pupils.

And with that, The Francisco P. Felix Elementary School Unit 1 deserves an award!

Francisco P. Felix E/S Unit 1 continues its commitment to provide quality basic education amidst
pandemics. In order to ensure the continuity of learning and cope with the challenges of education in the new
normal, The School provides continuous learning opportunities to all Felixian’s learners by implementing the
Learning Continuity Plan (LCP). – Community – based Tutorial Project (CTP).

4 - INNOVATION

Problem Statement
It is timely to recall that in our community, teacher should remember the rights of pupils to learn
even in time of pandemic. The teacher should assist each of their pupils to attain self – direction
towards reading ability rather than just taking it for granted. Likewise, with the volunteers who are
willing to sacrifice their spare time in helping pupils read and write as well.
