Don't Doubt Your Calling
Don't Doubt Your Calling
Don't Doubt Your Calling
CRISIS- Is a very decisive moment nga kung nag-decide kaw, ang desisyon nga ‘to is importante because that
decision will either lead to your recovery or deterioration.
It is important that in fulfilling God’s will, we need to settle and address the questions “Who am I?” and “Why am
I doing this?”
Ang question nga “Who am I?” sa other translation or verses sa bible, are questions that expresses gratefulness in
the Lord for having been given a humbling privilege by the Lord for an assignment or a great task.
But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come
from You, And of Your own we have given you. -1 Chronicles 29:14 NKJV-
9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of
God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly
than they all, yet not, but the grace of God which was with me. -1 Corinthians 15:9-10-
So may “Who am I?” nga ok kag nami, pero man-an niyo bala KKBs nga may “Who am I?” man nga hindi nami?
Ang dya nga “Who am I?” nga hindi nami is a question and the expression of doubt in God’s ability and one’s ability to
accomplish the task. Example may naghambal kanimu, “uy, ikaw lead ka prayer ha” tapos nagsabat man ikaw, “Ha? Ako?
Sin-o gd ako haw? Ano gd ako haw? Andot ako gid haw? Iba lang ay.” Daaaan! jan palang sa simple nga bagay nga rah,
you already doubt God’s calling
Patas ni Moses, may “Who am I?” tana nga hindi nami. So kay Moses kita mafocus.
Exodus 3:11
But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharoah, and that I should bring the children of Israel out
of Egypt?” - Exodus 3:11 –
So si Moses gintaw.an tana ni Lord ka great task. A very important assignment/calling kaso ang naging focus na
That time, puro what ifs si Moses. Hambal na sa Lord:
Oh db nagtudo pa ka iba.
Exodus 3:12-15
12 So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have
brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.” 13 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I
come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is
His name?’ what shall I say to them?” 14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say
to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ “15 Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children
of Israel: ‘The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob has sent me to
you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations. - Exodus 3:12-15 –
Life Testimony:
When I was your age, wow!
There’s this time nga sa Manila pa ako gaskwela, nagkaroon kang conquest ang church nga gina-attenan ko. Sa
mga di familiar sa Conquest, bali mashare ikaw ka Gospel of Salvation sa mga taho nga makita or makasalubong mo. 3
Minute Gospel tana. That time mga young people man eh ang ishare-ran namon. So habang gapanaw kami sa plaza,
Nahihiya
ako, di ko kabisado tsaka baka mautal ako nakakahiya. Ako nalang taga hawak ng bag mo. Ako bahala mamaya sa
merienda mo. Oh db, sagad gd ako kato mangita ka alibi. I was like Moses.
I doubted my calling that time.
But just like Moses, God spoke to me also through His words.
“I will certainly be with you. It is I who called and sent you.” Duro ang hindi ta kaya himuon. Because as a person we are
limited. Hambal ganeh sa bible, with God, nothing is Impossible. And
just like Moses, I was able to overcome my doubts na-overcome ko ang pagka huruyaon ko, from Fear to Faith, from
Doubt to Trust. And here I am standing in front of you, accepting the challenge to intensify and fulfill God’s calling.
I tell you my dear KKBs, the same God of Moses, the same God of the bible, is the same God who called. And
God is saying, “The right question is not “Who am I?” in fulfilling and intensifying God’s call in our life, but the right
question should be, “Who’s with me? and “Who called and sent me?”
